The Guidelines

Event Rules

Compliance ensures a seamless experience for everyone. Please read carefully.

01

The event is open to all regular students from Colleges affiliated to recognised Universities / Autonomous Colleges/ Deemed Universities/ Polytechnics only.

A valid college ID is required for registration. Only registered participants will be allowed to perform.

Each team must consist of 6-30 participants.

A maximum of 10 extra team members are allowed (not performing on stage).

Teams will be given 6-12 minutes to perform with an additional 3 minutes setup time.

All participants must report by 1:00 PM sharp on the day of the event. Late arrivals will not be permitted to perform.

Green rooms will be provided for teams to prepare before their performance.

08

The music for your performance must be in MP3 format and should be brought on a pen drive.

09

Use of fire, water, smoke, poppers, or any breakable items is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.

10

Performances should maintain modesty and respect for all audience. Vulgar or inappropriate content will not be tolerated and it may lead to immediate disqualification.

Performances must not contain obscene, offensive, or politically provocative content.

The decisions made by the judges will be final and binding. There will be no re-evaluations of scores.

13

The winning teams will be awarded a total prize pool of ₹60,000.

14

The distribution of the prize money will be announced at the conclusion of the event.

15

Misbehavior with judges, organizers, or other participants may lead to immediate disqualification.

Essential guidelines for a fair and spectacular competition.

All students are allowed to wear colour dress with college ID card.

02

No outsiders are permitted inside the college campus.

The competitions are held on house basis.

A student can participate up to a maximum of four off-stage events.

A student can participate up to a maximum of three individual on-stage events and two group items.

The participant should report at the venue as per the schedule.

07

If he/she fails to present on stage, marks will be reduced for individual items as well as for group items from respective teams.

All participants should make sure that their presentation is decent.

09

Songs for dance items, karaoke etc. should be submitted to the arts representative before 1 days of arts day.

10

The theme for all items should not be abusive or disturbing of any kind.

The judge's decisions will be final, and no appeals will be entertained.

Any act of indiscipline will be viewed very seriously and disciplinary actions will be taken. Also, there will be a reduction of points from the respective houses.

Participants must bring their own costumes, properties, instruments, and materials unless otherwise notified.

The organizing committee is not responsible for loss or damage of personal items.

15

The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.

No arguments or appeals regarding results will be entertained.

17

Malpractice, impersonation, or unfair assistance will result in disqualification.

18

Any damage to college property will be charged to the participant(s) concerned.

19

Participation certificates will be issued only to students who actually perform.

20

Time limits prescribed for each event must be strictly followed.

21

Background tracks must be submitted in the specified format before the deadline.

22

Chest numbers must be collected in advance and worn visibly throughout the on-stage events.

Vulgar, offensive, political or religiously sensitive content is strictly prohibited.

A minimum of 4 registration is required for conducting an event.

Screening Protocol

It is informed that there will be a screening for all items (Excluding music items) before the original performance. The entire script, plot and theme must be submitted before the screening committee. If there are any variations to the above items when performed on stage, participants and group will be disqualified from the respective events resulting in negative marks for the house. It is the duty of house captains to ensure timely participation and discipline of their house members.
